Conduct thorough evaluations across a spectrum of populations, including pediatric, adult, and geriatric, employing both standardized measures and observational tools. Create individualized treatment strategies addressing both immediate goals and the long-term needs related to communication, cognition, or swallowing. Deliver dedicated one-on-one speech therapy sessions concentrating on communication, language skills, fluency, voice, and swallowing disorders. Collaborate closely with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nursing staff, physicians, caregivers, and families to ensure a unified approach to patient care. Provide educational resources for patients and their families to support continued progress outside clinical settings. Participate in occasional inpatient evaluations and treatment, ensuring seamless care throughout the journey of healing. Keep precise and timely records that comply with all regulatory standards. Engage in continuous professional development through education and collaboration with peers. Education
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Experience through a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), if you are not yet ASHA-certified. Certifications
Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. Preferred certification: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA. Must obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days from start of employment. Skills
