Preparing and organizing the operating room for effective surgical procedures Ensuring sterile fields and compliance with infection control protocols Handing instruments and supplies to surgeons and surgical assistants seamlessly Managing surgical equipment before, during, and after surgical interventions Monitoring inventory levels to guarantee readiness for every operation Working collaboratively with nurses, anesthesiologists, and surgical staff to provide flawless care Documenting surgical counts and maintaining accurate records Education Requirements:
Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program necessary A high school diploma or equivalent is required Certifications Needed:
Current CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) credential is a must BLS certification or the ability to obtain it within 90 days of hire Key Skills and Attributes:
