Experience Minimum Required Experience as obtained through the completion of a Radiology Technology Program. Preferred/Desired Minimum of 1 year as a radiology technologist. 6 months experience in IR/Cath lab/EP. Education Minimum Required Completion of a formal education program in radiography accredited by a mechanism acceptable to ARRT. Training Special Skills Minimum Required Demonstrates a thorough understanding of Radiologic principals/theory. Utilizes the most appropriate technique and positioning for optimal procedures/treatments as demonstrated by procedure/treatment results. Demonstrates ability to receive and follow written and oral instructions; ability to plan and organize work Licensure Minimum Required Registered by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) with Registry in Radiography ARRT (R). ;BLS Certification within 14 days of hire; New graduate will obtain required registry within 120 days as required; State license as required Registry in Vascular Interventional ARRT(VI) Reporting Relationships
