Performing thorough assessments, ordering necessary tests, and crafting personalized care strategies Diagnosing and treating a spectrum of issues on your own or alongside physicians depending on your credentials Informing patients and their families about preventive care, wellness, and management of chronic illnesses Prescribing medications and treatments in line with regulations Contributing to consistent patient follow-ups and chronic care plans Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to provide holistic care Maintaining meticulous documentation within electronic medical records (EMR) Education Credentials
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program Necessary Certifications
Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in Alabama National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent specialty Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or willing to acquire within 90 days) What Sets You Apart
