Assess residents with speech, language, communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet residents' needs. Provide therapy services aimed at improving communication skills and swallowing function. Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and rehabilitation team members to achieve the best possible outcomes. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with facility and regulatory requirements. Educate residents, families, and caregivers on therapy goals and progress. Qualifications:
Current Speech Therapist license/certification in the state of practice. Degree from an accredited Speech Therapy or Speech-Language Pathology program. Experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or long-term care preferred. Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. New graduates are encouraged to apply.
