Prepare patients for radiologic procedures. Follow instructions from referring physicians and/or providers regarding which area of the patient's body needs imaging. Perform screening procedures for diagnostic procedures. Explain procedures to patients and answer questions. Take digital images following established procedures for patient care and safety. Produce QUALITY diagnostic images. Document exam information. Verify exams on PACS. Ensure equipment is in working order and report equipment malfunctions to Supervisor. Use a variety of radiation protection and shielding materials in the appropriated anatomy. Maintaining patient confidentiality as per the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). Other duties as assigned. SKILLS & ABILITIES

Graduate of medical program w/ certification CA State Certification in American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) EXPERIENCE
Minimum one year full-time clinical experience in a healthcare facility as a radiological technologist. Bilingual a plus and orthopedic experience a big plus (but not required)
