At Clinical Associates, we make being healthy easier. We connect our patients to a seamless system of integrated medical care, which includes in-house specialists in 7 areas of practice, from cardiology to podiatry. We also offer unique services like our ambulatory surgery center and nuclear stress testing facility. We are seeking to add a Clinical Assistant to our team in Towson! Our ideal candidate must be willing to work in a team environment, be flexible, and detail oriented. The Clinical Assistant provides administrative support to a team of Certified Medical Assistants and healthcare providers at a specific site. Location: 515 Fairmount Avenue, Towson, MD 21286Shifts: Monday - Friday (Day Shift only)Part Time / 32 hours per weekThe Clinical Assistant will perform a variety of administrative tasks up to and including:
Scanning forms, diagnostic test results, and other correspondence into the appropriate category of each patient's chart within the electronic medical record (EMR). Completing the full scope of the prior authorization process for medications and diagnostic testing. Sending normal lab result letters to patients. RequirementsHigh School diploma or equivalent. Ability to convey a positive attitude and project a professional image. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Knowledge of general medical office procedures preferred. Proficiency in computer skills/EMR systems preferred. Excellent time management skills Exceptional customer service, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
