Certified Nursing Assistant We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Pine View Care Center. As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will be responsible for providing direct care to our residents, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. You will work closely with our nursing staff to provide high-quality care and support to our residents. Your role will be critical in maintaining a positive and supportive environment for our residents. Minimum Qualifications
Active Certified Nursing Assistant certification High school diploma or equivalent Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in a long-term care or assisted living facility Experience working with residents with dementia or Alzheimer's
Responsibilities
Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming Monitor and record vital signs and other health-related information Assist with mobility and transfers, using proper lifting and transfer techniques Provide emotional support and companionship to residents Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents
As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will use your strong communication skills to interact with residents and their families, as well as with other members of the healthcare team. You will also use your physical strength and dexterity to assist with mobility and transfers, and your attention to detail to monitor and record vital signs and other health-related information. Additionally, your ability to provide emotional support and companionship to residents will be critical in maintaining a positive and supportive environment for our residents. Finally, your ability to work independently and as part of a team will be essential in ensuring the highest quality of care for our residents.
