Role Summary The IT Business Analyst partners with business teams to translate operational needs into effective IT and ERP solutions. The role plays a key part in improving business processes, supporting system enhancements, and ensuring technology solutions align with organizational goals. This is a hands-on role, in a fast-paced company where the IT Business Analyst will be expected to work independently, with minimal direction and no direct reports.
Key Responsibilities
Gather, analyze, and document business requirements across functional areas
including Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, and Sales
Act as a liaison between business users, IT teams, and external vendors Support ERP and related systems through configuration, testing, deployment, and
ongoing improvements
Participate in system upgrades, integrations, and IT-related projects end to end Develop functional documentation, workflows, and user guides Write test plans, execute and coordinate system and user acceptance testing Provide application support and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives Manage multiple concurrent projects with competing deadlines
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or
equivalent experience
5+ years of experience in an IT Business Analyst, ERP Analyst, or similar role Hands-on experience with ERP systems and the software development lifecycle Strong understanding of business processes and data flows Experience with SQL and project management tools Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Nice to Have
Experience in Food, CPG, Retail, or Supply Chain–driven environments Exposure to Java and/or Microsoft Azure Spanish language skills
