What You Will Do Leads assigned staff in performing activities or tasks in pharmacy services. Serves as a subject matter expert and provides guidance across pharmacies and to clinical leadership.
Leads or coordinates shift operations of assigned activities, resources, and/or associates. Serves as a technical or functional resource and performs similar duties as associates they lead. Assigns, monitors and reviews progress of work. Monitors and reports compliance with policies and/orprocedures. May resolve scheduling issues.
Oversees daily activities of the pharmacy technicians under the direction of the pharmacists and management. Assists with specialty projects and tasks as assigned by Pharmacy management. Participates in problem solving within the department. Provides input into hiring, training, directing, development and evaluation of staff. What You Will Need Licensure / Certification / Registration:
Currently certified as a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) by the Institute for the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) preferred. Education:
High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree with 1 year of experience OR 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
