Join our team of experts and make a difference with UnityPoint Health. Responsibilities Evaluates and treats patients in need of occupational therapy services and participates in and provides all necessary components of this responsibility including completion of proper evaluation, creation of a treatment plan, and completion of treatment sessions per established treatment plans Produces appropriate documentation and billing in compliance with all third party payor and regulatory guidelines
Provides oversite and supervision of certified occupational therapist assistants and other support personnel Completes appropriate communication with all patients, caregivers, fellow staff, and referring providers/clinicians
Qualifications Education: Graduate of accredited educational program in occupational therapy is required Master's degree is preferred
Experience: 1 year of clinicalexperience as an Occupational Therapist is preferred
License(s)/Certification(s): Licensed to practice Occupational Therapy in the state of Iowa as defined in the Iowa Occupational Therapy Regulation and Practice Act
BLS Certification
Valid driver’s license when driving any vehicle for work-related reasons
