Assist physicians and nursing staff during endoscopic procedures Prepare patients for procedures as directed Transport patients to and from the procedure room as needed Prepare endoscopy suites according to patient, physician, and procedure requirements Assemble, test, and maintain properly functioning equipment, instruments, and supplies Handle, label, and process patient specimens in accordance with policy Complete required laboratory, pathology, and documentation accurately Monitor patients during procedures and report observed changes to the RN Clean, disinfect, and reprocess endoscopes and equipment per manufacturer instructions and center policy Perform between-case and daily terminal cleaning of procedure rooms Restock supplies and maintain appropriate inventory levels Support efficient room turnover and cost-effective use of supplies Follow infection prevention practices, aseptic technique, and sterile processes Wear appropriate PPE and observe universal precautions at all times Participate in quality improvement, safety programs, and required education Promote patient and physician satisfaction through professionalism and teamwork Perform other duties as assigned What We're Looking For

High school diploma or equivalent Basic Life Support (BLS) certification 1 year of experience as an Endoscopy Technician preferred Physical & Work Environment Expectations
Ability to stand, walk, lift, push, pull, and assist with patient movement throughout the day Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Work in procedure rooms with medical equipment and cleaning agents Exposure to bloodborne pathogens and cleaning solutions Ability to work varying daytime hours based on patient and center needs Why Join Clayton Endoscopy Center
