Cardiac Sonographer The Cardiac Sonographer performs a variety of non-invasive ultrasound examinations for diagnosis of cardiac, vascular, and abdominal disorders. Associate's Degree or Equivalent from two-year College or technical school. Graduate of an accredited/approved program in noninvasive cardiovascular echocardiography. National Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography upon hire or, National Certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International upon hire. National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire. Experience in a clinical setting, preferably cardiology.
