Perform comprehensive assessments, order pertinent diagnostic tests, and develop tailored treatment plans for patients Diagnose and manage acute, episodic, or chronic conditions collaboratively or independently based on your qualification Guide patients and their families on health promotion, disease prevention, and chronic disease management Prescribe medications and therapies within your professional scope Engage in patient follow-up and chronic care management Work with interdisciplinary teams to provide cohesive and comprehensive patient care Maintain accurate and detailed documentation within electronic medical records (EMR) Qualifications
A Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) Graduation from a recognized Nurse Practitioner program Licenses and Certifications
Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Georgia National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or corresponding specialty certification Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the ability to obtain within 90 days) Skills That Make You Shine
