Job Responsibilities
Formulate Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess individual patient needs and craft personalized therapy approaches that help them achieve their functional objectives. Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Employ evidence-based methods to enhance patients' motor abilities, cognitive skills, and daily living tasks. Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Partner closely with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to guarantee comprehensive care. Educate Patients and Families: Provide guidance to patients and their caregivers about therapeutic techniques to facilitate continued progress at home. Track and Document Patient Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and adapt treatment plans as necessary to ensure patients remain on track towards their goals. Education Requirements
Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution Encouragement and support for continued education or post-graduate certifications Certifications Required
Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory Desired Skills
