Executing comprehensive evaluations, ordering necessary diagnostic examinations, and crafting personalized care strategies Diagnosing and treating acute and chronic conditions in partnership with physicians or autonomously, as your credentials allow Providing education for patients and their families about wellness, disease prevention, and management strategies Prescribing necessary medications and therapies within the scope of your practice Engaging in patient follow-up and chronic care management Cooperating with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive, integrated care Ensuring thorough and precise documentation within electronic medical records (EMR) Educational Qualifications
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) Graduate from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program Necessary Certifications
Hold a valid Nurse Practitioner license in Texas National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or an equivalent specialty Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or capability to obtain within 90 days) Essential Skills for Success
Strong clinical judgment coupled with an empathetic bedside demeanor Solid communication capabilities with patients, their families, and clinical personnel Flexibility in fast-paced, patient-oriented settings Proficiency with EMR systems and confidence in utilizing telehealth technologies A collaborative spirit and dedication to evidence-based practices What Makes This Opportunity Special
