Executing thorough patient assessments, ordering necessary diagnostic tests, and creating tailored care plans Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic illnesses, both independently and in collaboration with attending physicians Providing education to patients and their families on preventive care, wellness, and chronic disease management Prescribing medications and therapies in alignment with your scope of practice Engaging in patient follow-up and managing chronic care effectively Coordinating with interdisciplinary teams to deliver seamless, comprehensive care Accurately documenting all patient interactions in electronic medical records (EMR) Qualifications and Requirements
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program Necessary Credentials
Valid Nurse Practitioner license in Nebraska National certification as a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent specialty Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or willingness to obtain within 90 days) What Skills Make You Shine
