Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2412 $500 CONTRACT COMPLETION BONUSOpportunity: Pediatric Respiratory Therapist - Pediatric Respiratory Therapist Job Details: • Work 3 twelve-hour shifts with day shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM and night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM • Variable schedule option available with half days/half nights • Every third weekend requirement • Every other holiday requirement • Optional off-shift call availability from 7:00 PM to 4:00 AM with 1-hour response time • Must have 2 years of respiratory therapy experience required • Must have trauma level 2 or 3 experience • Critical care experience required • Cover all adult units, emergency department, and pediatric patients in ED • Perform arterial blood gases and capillary blood gases in intensive care units • Cover for EKG department overnight and during coverage needs • Assist with intubation and may place laryngeal airways during code blue situations • Work with various respiratory equipment including Servo U/I ventilators, PB840, Hamilton T1, V-60/V-30 BiPAP/CPAP, Vapotherm high flow, INOmax Plus, oscillators, and cough assist devices • Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS, RRT via NBRC • Wisconsin respiratory therapy license required (processing takes 6-8 weeks) • Any color scrubs acceptable with supportive footwear encouraged • Orientation includes leadership meetings and 3-4 days of floor orientation • Chart using Cerner system • Must clock in and out at facility Facility: This healthcare organization operates a comprehensive medical center with critical care respiratory therapy services supporting multiple departments. The facility maintains trauma level 2 designation and provides 24/7 coverage with neonatologists, hospitalists, and intensivists available around the clock. The respiratory therapy department features modern equipment and maintains a structured leadership hierarchy with system directors, managers, supervisors, and lead therapists for each shift to ensure quality patient care.
