Job Responsibilities
Design Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients' needs and create personalized therapy strategies aimed at helping them meet their rehabilitative goals Implement Effective Therapies: Utilize research-based interventions to improve patients' skills, cognitive function, and daily life activities Engage with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work synergistically with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver thorough and integrative care Empower Patients and Their Families: Train patients and caregivers on treatment techniques to encourage continuous progress at home Track Patient Progress: Document clinical outcomes and adapt treatment plans as necessary to keep patients on track Qualifications
Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college Continued education or post-graduate certifications encouraged and supported Licensure
Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) certification NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification required Skills
