Perform detailed patient evaluations, order necessary diagnostic tests, and create tailored care plans Identify and manage acute, chronic, or episodic health issues in collaboration with physicians, or autonomously (as per your credentials) Guide patients and their families in understanding prevention, wellness, and chronic illness management Prescribe medications and treatments, adhering to your professional scope Engage in chronic care management and follow-up appointments to ensure continuity of care Partner with interdisciplinary teams, working together to provide seamless, patient-centered care Ensure accurate documentation within electronic medical records (EMR) Qualifications Needed
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program Mandatory Certifications
Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Iowa National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or a recognized specialty Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to obtain within 90 days) Essential Skills
Strong clinical expertise complemented by a caring bedside manner Exceptional communication skills, both interpersonal and with clinical teams Flexibility and resilience in fast-paced, patient-focused settings Familiarity with EMR systems and proficiency in telehealth technologies A collaborative spirit and a commitment to evidence-based practices Perks of This Position
