Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner educational program Necessary Certifications
Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Texas National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or its specialized equivalent Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (or capability to obtain within 90 days) Key Skills for Success
