SAP Supply Chain Applications Manage r - I SAP Supply Chain Applications Manag e r – IT is responsible for managing and supporting all business applications used at the Ti NA sites. This includes understanding the company's strategy, business acumen and processes, and facilitating the business needs locally of NA as well as supporting and working for the Global systems/tool’s operation support used in NA Responsibiliti es:Manages the business application operation support via the global helpdesk proce ss.Manages the local application team: Being part of the global IT team organization requires a team player and a leader who can guide the direct reports and junior specialists along with the formation and work with the peers across Global IT.Vendor Coordination: Managing relationships with software providers for updates, licensing, and suppo rt.To follow, align, and ensure the Security & Compliance defined by Global IT.User Support & Training: Facilitates the End User training sessions, and ensure the needful documentation as required by the SDLC cycle is in pla ce.Manages the change request tasks, minor, major, or business projects/tasks in the USA and Cana da.Resolve Tier 2 user system problems by gaining and applying expertise in:SAP Enterprise Resource Plann ingHoneywell OptiVision Manufacturing Execution Sys temSAP Business Wareho useSAP Business Obje ctsOther applications or tool sets are used to support the business. (Manufacturing proce ss)Global BIGlobal MDMSalesforce, et c.…Ensuring the Business Team provides the requirement document (RD) and works with the vendor/IT to provide the feasibility optio ns.Provides support for the issues/deliverables required by the functional are as.Provide support and ensure the user acceptance testing and user training process is adhered to.To be aligned with the infrastructure and technology proce ss.Change management process should be as defined in the Global helpdesk syst em.Effective participation in a team environme nt.Involve in evaluation for any new software/systems solutions for the busine ss.Maintain professional communications with all levels of the organizati on.Any other tasks assigned by the Regional IT Manager and the Global IT Managers/Direct or.Some after-hours support may be required at tim es.May be required to perform other related duties as assign ed.Requirement s : Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related fie ld.Minimum of 12-15 years of experience in Business Applications support in a Manufacturing environment preferr ed.Preference given to SAP experience, but any ERP system experience is desir ed.Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of software development, databases, business application support, and system integrati on.Project Management: Experience with project methodologies and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneous ly.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issu es.Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional tea ms.Primarily office-based with occasional requirements to visit manufacturing sit es.On-call availability may be required for critical business system issues and emergenci es.Open to travel as required between the US and Canada, as well as to other Ti sites as per ne ed.
