Preparing and maintaining the operating room for surgical procedures Ensuring sterile fields are upheld in adherence to strict infection control protocols Assisting surgeons and surgical staff by passing instruments and supplies effectively Managing equipment and surgical tools before, during, and after surgeries Monitoring inventory and ensuring surgical readiness for each case Coordinating with nurses and anesthesiologists for comprehensive patient care Maintaining accurate documentation and surgical counts throughout procedures Education and Credentials Required:
Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program High school diploma or equivalent Certifications Required:
Current CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) certification necessary BLS certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire) Essential Skills and Attributes:
