Physical Therapist - Outpatient Ortho Location: Mobile, AL Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule: 8-hour Day shifts, guaranteed 36 hours with the expectation of working up to 40 hours per week. Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist for an outpatient orthopedic setting. The therapist will be responsible for evaluating patients, developing individualized treatment plans, and providing appropriate therapy interventions. The role involves seeing 12-14 patients per day, with a productivity expectation of 60 visits per week, and may include double-booking follow-up visits. Responsibilities:
Conduct patient evaluations and assessments. Create and implement personalized treatment plans based on patient needs. Administer therapeutic interventions to enhance patient recovery and mobility. Document patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
Valid Physical Therapy license or eligibility in the state of Alabama. Outpatient orthopedics experience preferred. New graduates are welcomed to apply. Must have approval from the director for overtime hours worked.
