Job Description Job Summary: Seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to provide specialized cancer treatment services in a fast-paced oncology department. The role requires independent working ability, technical proficiency, and strong communication skills to ensure high-quality patient care. Responsibilities:
Administer radiation treatments using Ethos or Varian equipment following established protocols. Develop and implement customized treatment plans, including tumor localization, custom molds, and shields. Monitor patient responses and ensure adherence to safety and radiation safety standards. Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient treatments and manage equipment setup. Document treatment details accurately in EPIC and maintain detailed patient records. Maintain proficiency in advanced imaging procedures such as CBCT, kV/mV imaging, and dose calculations. Qualifications:
Hold a NYS Radiologic Technologists Therapy License. Have at least 1 year of relevant Radiation Therapy experience. Be ARRT certified in Therapeutic Radiation. Possess BLS certification and current NY license. Be experienced with EPIC electronic charting and advanced radiation equipment. Demonstrate flexibility, dependability, and strong communication skills. Benefits & Growth:
