Design Tailored Therapy Plans: Assess patient requirements and create innovative treatment strategies to help them reach their functional targets Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Leverage evidence-based treatments to promote improvements in patients' motor functions, cognitive skills, and daily living activities Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work in sync with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, clinicians, and nurses to provide comprehensive patient-centered care Educate Patients and Families: Guide patients and caregivers on therapy methods to aid continuous recovery at home Track and Report Progress: Monitor clinical progress and adapt treatment plans as necessary to keep patients on their pathway to success Education
Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution Continuing education or advanced certifications are welcomed and supported Certifications
Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification required Skills
