Conduct in-depth assessments of patients spanning pediatric, adult, and geriatric demographics utilizing both standardized evaluations and observational methods. Construct tailored therapy plans that cater to both immediate and ongoing communication, cognitive, or swallowing challenges. Deliver innovative one-on-one therapy focusing on speech, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing techniques. Collaborate seamlessly with a multidisciplinary team consisting of physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and families to design integrated care approaches. Educate patients and families to empower and encourage progress outside of clinical scenarios. Participate in occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions to ensure a consistent continuum of care throughout the patient's journey. Maintain comprehensive and timely patient documentation, adhering to state, federal, and organizational standards. Stay informed on the latest advancements in speech-language pathology through ongoing education and collaboration with peers. Education
A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if you are not yet ASHA-certified. Certifications
State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within the first 30 days of employment. Skills
