Your Daily Responsibilities Will Include:
Preparing and organizing the operating room for various procedures Maintaining sterile fields and ensuring adherence to strict infection control measures Assisting surgeons and surgical assistants by accurately delivering instruments and materials Managing and preparing surgical equipment before, during, and after each procedure Keeping a vigilant eye on inventory and coordinating supplies for operations Collaborating seamlessly with nurses, anesthesiologists, and other surgical staff Documenting and maintaining accurate surgical counts and records Education Requirements:
Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program A high school diploma or equivalent is required Certifications Needed:
A current CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) credential is essential BLS certification (or the ability to acquire it within 90 days of hire) Key Skills and Attributes:
