Employing radiographic and CT methodologies to produce exceptional diagnostic images for physician analysis Collaborating with radiologists and the healthcare team to streamline accurate diagnoses Properly positioning patients and adjusting equipment settings for optimal imaging results Upholding stringent radiation safety protocols to protect patients and colleagues alike Keeping thorough documentation, including imaging logs and equipment upkeep Delivering compassionate care to patients throughout their imaging experience Supporting a streamlined and organized imaging workflow Educational and Certification Requirements
Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology is required; a Bachelor's Degree is preferable Successful completion of an accredited radiology program Essential Certifications
Certification from the ARRT (CT and/or Radiography) is necessary Current BLS certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire Desirable Skills and Attributes
Expert knowledge of diagnostic imaging practices and safety regulations Superb interpersonal skills to connect with patients and work collaboratively with the healthcare team Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced setting and adjust to shifting demands A detail-oriented approach combined with a strong sense of responsibility Technological proficiency with PACS, RIS, and contemporary imaging applications What Awaits You
