Educate patients and their families to foster progress outside clinical encounters. Assist with occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions, guaranteeing smooth continuity of care. Document patient information following the outlined state, federal, and organizational policies. Pursue continuing education opportunities to stay ahead in the field through collaboration with peers. Qualifications
A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution is required. Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is necessary for those who have not yet attained ASHA certification. Licensing and Certifications
State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA. A Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory within 30 days of employment. Desired Skills
