Performing comprehensive assessments of patients, ordering necessary diagnostic tests, and developing tailored care plans Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic health conditions in conjunction with physicians or independently based on your credentialing Providing education to patients and their families focusing on prevention, wellness, and disease management Prescribing appropriate medications and therapies within your scope of practice Engaging in patient follow-up and managing chronic care Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure integrated, holistic patient care Meticulously documenting within electronic medical records (EMR) Qualifications
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) Graduated from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program Essential Certifications
Active Nurse Practitioner license in Texas National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or equivalent specialty certification Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or capability to acquire within 90 days) Desirable Skills
A strong foundation in clinical knowledge combined with a compassionate approach to patient care Exceptional communication capabilities with patients, families, and healthcare teams Flexibility and resilience in fast-paced, patient-focused settings Proficient in using EMR systems and comfortable with telehealth technologies A team-oriented spirit coupled with dedication to evidence-informed care practices Benefits of This Position
