Manages, hires, and oversees the Activities personnel and staff. Manages and oversees bussing, transportation, scheduling of facilities for events for grades 6-12 Responsible for oversight of ticketing, registrations, rosters and awards; livestreaming or broadcasting of events. Responsible for implementation of MSHSL bylaws to include student eligibility. Organizes and supervises all activities, practices and tournaments for all District activities to include event security. Prepares, submits, recommends and defends the proposed activities budget. Monitors and authorizes purchases and expenditures. Evaluates programs and collaborates and works with administration in dealing with fiscal and budgetary matters. Coordinates public relation and publicity for all activity events and programs. Collaborates and works with the local media, students, parents and community groups/organizations concerning program events/programs. Provides leadership and direction in the formulation of strategic plans and programs to operate a balanced, integrated and comprehensive Activities Program. Oversees the planning, development, evaluation and improvement of department goals, objectives and programming Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Education or related area. Previous coaching experience preferred Benefits available according to the Albert Lea Schools Director and Coordinator agreement.
