Our dedicated recruitment team focuses on delivering qualified healthcare professionals quickly while ensuring quality, compliance, and client satisfaction Position: Cardiac Cath Lab Technician (Cath Lab Tech) Location: McAllen, TX (STHS McAllen Heart Hospital) Contract Length: 13 Weeks (06/08/2026 - 09/05/2026) Shift: Days, 5x8s (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, 40 hrs/week) Required Experience
Minimum 2+ years of Cath Lab and/or Electrophysiology experience Experience scrubbing and monitoring procedures required Experience with diagnostic and interventional cardiac & vascular procedures Peripheral and coronary procedure experience required Structural heart experience is a plus Education
Degree in related field (AA/BS/BA) or equivalent experience required Certifications & Licensure
RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) or RAD (Radiologic Technologist) - Required AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) Additional Requirements
Must live at least 50 miles away from the facility Call requirement: ~1 day/week + 1 weekend/month Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment Role Responsibilities
Assist in invasive cardiac and vascular diagnostic/interventional procedures Perform scrub and monitoring duties in Cath Lab Operate radiology imaging and catheterization equipment Support multidisciplinary team in patient care Maintain patient safety, confidentiality, and procedural accuracy
