Assess a diverse clientele across pediatric, adult, and geriatric demographics through established evaluation tools and observational methods. Design individualized treatment strategies aimed at both immediate objectives and long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing needs. Deliver direct speech therapy tailored to enhance fluency, voice clarity, language ability, and swallowing mechanisms. Work collaboratively with a dedicated team of therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and families to foster integrated care approaches. Provide educational support for patients and their families to encourage progress outside of therapy sessions. Occasionally engage in inpatient care providing speech therapy evaluations and interventions to ensure a seamless continuum of care. Accurately document therapy sessions in compliance with prevailing state, federal, and internal policies. Remain engaged with the latest developments in the field through ongoing education and teamwork with peers. Qualifications
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if ASHA certification has not yet been obtained. Certifications
State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. Preferably, hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within the first 30 days of employment. Key Skills
