Assist technicians with patient restraint Monitor recovering surgical patients under supervision Walk hospitalized or boarded patients as directed Maintain clean, dry, and comfortable cages Refresh water and bedding as needed Report any patient concerns immediately to a technician or doctor Hospital Flow & Efficiency
Clean and reset exam rooms between appointments Ensure rooms are stocked and prepared Support treatment area organization Keep treatment tables wiped and ready Assist with moving patients as needed Laundry & Sanitation
Keep laundry rotating throughout the day Fold and restock towels and blankets Maintain cleanliness of laundry area Assist with general cleaning tasks as assigned Support end-of-day cleaning responsibilities when needed Pharmacy & Administrative Support
Prepare prescription labels (under technician supervision) Pull medications for technician verification Assist with organizing pharmacy shelves Maintain clutter-free tech station Sign sympathy cards promptly (do not leave sitting on tech desk Qualifications Maintain a clean and safe treatment area Dispose of waste appropriately Ensure floors remain dry and free of hazards Follow OSHA and hospital safety protocols High school diploma or equivalent Previous animal handling experience preferred Ability to lift 40+ pounds Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail Positive attitude and team mindset Desire to learn and grow in veterinary medicine
