Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Full-Time & Per Diem AVIR at Camp Wood is a patient-centered rehabilitation and wellness facility committed to delivering high-quality, individualized care. Our team works collaboratively to help patients restore function, improve mobility, and enhance overall quality of life. Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team in both full-time and per diem capacities. The ideal candidate is passionate about patient care and works effectively under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to help patients achieve their rehabilitation goals. Responsibilities
Provide physical therapy treatments and interventions as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans to improve strength, mobility, balance, and function Monitor patient progress and communicate updates or concerns to the Physical Therapist Instruct patients in therapeutic exercises and functional mobility activities Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with regulatory standards Ensure a safe and clean therapy environment Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support optimal patient outcomes
Qualifications
Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program Current Texas PTA license (or eligibility) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively under the supervision of a Physical Therapist Experience in rehabilitation, skilled nursing, or outpatient settings preferred
Employment Types
Full-Time: Consistent schedule with benefits eligibility The starting hourly rate is $34.00 with adjustments made in accordance with the candidate's experience level Per Diem: Flexible, as-needed scheduling
