Schedule 12-hour shift from 7 AM to 7 PM; includes weekends, holidays, charge, and on call/callback per unit needs. Job Description The Adult Cardiac Operating Room is responsible for a diverse range of complex cardiovascular procedures including CABGs, TAVIs, and heart failure interventions. Utilizing a multidisciplinary approach, the OR staff provides exceptional care to adult patients. The Registered Nurse will function independently as the RN circulator for intricate adult cardiac cases, such as CABGs, structural heart cases, minimally invasive procedures, and heart failure treatments. Experience in heart transplantation is preferred. ResponsibilitiesCirculate complex adult cardiac surgery cases. Assist in CABGs, structural heart cases, minimally invasive procedures, and heart failure interventions. Participation in heart transplant procedures as necessary. Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. Required Experience / Certifications / LicensureMust possess a Registered Nurse (RN) License in New York. Two years of experience in the operating room is required; level 1 trauma experience is highly preferred. Must be able to scrub and circulate.
