Provides direct personal care under the supervision of the nurse within the scope of practice of the Certified Nursing Assistant I or II and Emergency Department Technician Participates as a contributory member of the interdisciplinary team. Completes all documentation within departmental requirements and timelines. Participates in the responsible management of all departmental/hospital resources. Works with the ED team to maintain equipment and supplies and adequate inventory levels. Assumes responsibility for meeting annual in-service requirements and ongoing personal development. High school diploma or equivalent required.
Current Basic EMT (EMT-B), Advanced EMT (AEMT),Paramedic License or CNA license preferred Current BLS certification. Nonviolent Crisis Intervention training completed with in three months of hire and maintain as current.
