Job Responsibilities
Create Customized Treatment Plans: Assess individual needs and craft tailored therapy strategies to help patients meet their personal goals. Implement Therapeutic Strategies: Utilize researched methods to enhance patients' physical skills, cognitive function, and everyday activities. Collaborate with Healthcare Teams: Work seamlessly with other professionals including OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to provide inclusive care. Educate Patients and Families: Guide patients and their families through therapeutic techniques, ensuring progress is maintained at home. Track Patient Progress: Monitor outcomes regularly, adapting treatment methods when necessary to align with patients' evolving needs. Qualifications
Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. Commitment to continuing education and professional development encouraged. Licensure
Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license required. Current NBCOT certification needed. Essential Skills
Genuine passion for assisting patients in achieving their maximum independence. Strong communication skills that are empathetic and clear with both patients and teammates.
