Job Description
Craft Individualized Treatment Plans: Assess patients' needs to design tailored therapy plans aimed at reaching their functional objectives Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based methodologies to improve patients' motor skills, cognitive function, and daily life activities Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work closely with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to ensure comprehensive and holistic patient care Educate Patients and Families: Provide guidance and training on therapy techniques to empower ongoing progress outside of therapy sessions Track and Adjust Treatment Goals: Monitor clinical outcomes and modify treatments as necessary to keep patients on track to success Education
Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited school Continuing education or post-graduate certifications are encouraged and actively supported Certifications
Current and active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification required Skills
A genuine passion for aiding others in achieving their maximum independence Effective and compassionate communication skills with patients and other healthcare professionals An ability to creatively adapt treatment strategies to accommodate diverse patient needs Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a close-knit, interdisciplinary team Benefits
