Family Support Partner - Harrison Arisa Health is currently seeking a Family Support Partner for our Harrison location. A Family Support Partner (FSP) is a role model for recovery and resilience, offering vital support to caregivers of children or youth with behavioral health needs. An FSP is typically a parent or family member who has personally cared for a child involved in behavioral health services, bringing firsthand experience to their work. Drawing on their lived experiences, specialized training, and skills, FSPs guide and empower caregivers in navigating the challenges of supporting their child's recovery journey. Through shared experiences, FSPs foster meaningful relationships and provide practical assistance, including teaching effective child-rearing strategies, behavior management techniques, and household organization skills. They also offer valuable insights on child development, age-appropriate behavior, and parenting expectations, while helping families access community resources and build supportive networks. By offering both emotional and practical support, FSPs play a crucial role in strengthening families and promoting long-term resilience. Arisa Health is Arkansas' largest and most comprehensive nonprofit behavioral health provider. Formed by the affiliation of 4 long-standing Arkansas community mental health centers, Arisa Health leads with exceptional care that nurtures health and well-being for all. Arisa provides outpatient services, Crisis services and emergency screening, substance abuse counseling, intensive children services, intensive adult services, medical services, and residential services in 41 Arkansas counties. This position is classified as full-time, non-exempt (hourly). Work Hours: Monday - Friday; 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. (OPTIONAL: Four 10-Hour Shifts) What we look for in a Family Support Partner:
High school diploma or equivalent required Two years or more lived experience being the primary caregiver of a child who has been involved with the behavioral health system is required Must be able to work within a variety of settings and locations including school, home, shelters, or in the community at large Ability to multitask Good organizational skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently as well as with a treatment team Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others Ability to lead by example as a role model Good phone etiquette Problem-solving mindset Familiar with computers; including the ability to type and have familiarity with word processing and email programs Excellent time management skills Willingness and ability to alter duties to support the needs of the business Must have a valid Arkansas driver's license/identification card
