Über
Bachelor's Degree, graduate of an accredited nursing program is required.
Master's Degree, graduate of a Nurse Practitioner program is required.
Two (2) years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner is preferred.
RN - Registered Nurse is required upon hire.
APRN - Advanced Practice Nurse is required upon hire.
ACNP - Acute Care Nurse Practitioner is required upon hire.
BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly is required.
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support required within 90 days of hire.
Skills: A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment. What You Will Do: Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process
Assessment/ Plan of Care/ Technical Skill:
Utilizes principles and skills in communication and interviewing techniques in obtaining a comprehensive health history to formulate a plan of care and make decisions for appropriate therapeutic interventions
Uses principles and skills in advanced health assessment for differentiating normal and abnormal findings
Synthesizes knowledge of physiology, pathophysiology, culture, and socioeconomics to access, evaluate, and provide therapeutic interventions to patients
Collaborates with the multidisciplinary team to improve care processes in order to promote continuity of care
Initiates actions to meet patients/families' needs
Takes actions to reduce patients risks
Performs specialty specific technical procedures safely and proficiently
