Practice medicine within the scope of license, training, and credentialing Practice medicine in accordance with the current standards of care Practice medicine in accordance with the quality criteria adopted by the Medical Staff Bylaws Promote a safety-conscious workplace Evaluate and follow up with patients Complete patient charting and all required paperwork in a timely manner Participate in the development and/or review of office policies and support the Practice Manager in their duties Demonstrate the ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individual patient care appropriate to the age of the patients served by demonstrating a strong working knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span Communicate appropriately with the person served, regardless of age Attend required hospital-wide orientations, meetings, and in-services Demonstrate a commitment to flexible work scheduling when necessary to ensure patient care

Minimum Required Education: Graduation from an accredited Physician's Assisting program with successful completion of the National Certifying Examination administered by the National Commission of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) or graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program with successful completion of the National Certifying Examination. Preferred Education: Not applicable Experience: 2+ years as a Physician Assistant, or Nurse Practitioner, is preferred
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Applicant must possess a current, unrestricted license to work as a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant in the Commonwealth of Virginia and/or the State of North Carolina, a current DEA certification without restrictions, and BLS. Qualifications Education: Technical/other training or better.
