Responsibilities and Duties
Establish new strategically significant customers in dietary supplement, infant formula and pharma industries.
Measure and prepare monthly sales forecast and assure their achievement.
Assures follow-ups of the orders with clients and prepare the costing sheet.
Attend different promotional events such as congress, meetings, tradeshows and other events.
Collaborate with R&D / HQ in Japan so as to have updated knowledge on research and development, technology, production planning, marketing, and others.
Maintain good communication with management, office staff members and outside contacts.
Support customer service team for technical customer complaints, questions, and requests via telephone and e-mail.
Qualifications
Bachelors Degree (B.A.) from four-year College (microbiology is preferable) or technical school; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Related experience of more than 5 years of sale and / or Key Account Manager experience with probiotics, preferably in Dietary Supplement and / or OTC market and/or Infant Nutrition market.
Technical marketing and/or product sales related to selling functional food ingredients.
Excellent communication skills to work in a team and communicate with many other types of groups to reach a common understanding of business needs.
Excellent computer skills (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
Identify customer needs and propose solutions in accordance with customers.
Fluency in Japanese - Professional Working to Native Level is a big plus.
