Litigation Paralegal
We're currently seeking a full-time Paralegal with civil litigation experience to support our attorneys in litigation-related matters and also to provide administrative support to the office staff. The ideal candidate is one who has experience drafting legal documents, has strong legal writing skills, is very organized, and is willing to take on a heavy workload. This is a perfect opportunity for a hard worker who is interested in a friendly yet fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assisting the firm's attorneys in managing a high volume of litigation mattersDrafting pleadings, legal memoranda, settlement agreements, etc.Communication with clients and opposing counselResearch with regard to simple and complex legal mattersAdministrative responsibilities such as client intake, organizing, and record keeping.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Minimum of 1-year civil litigation experience (e.g., drafting pleadings and legal research)Exceptional legal writing skillsPossess superior organizational and time-management skillsMust be computer literate: Ability to easily learn the Firm's case management softwareHighest ethical standards and professional integrityStrong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with clients, staff, and outside partiesPrior experience with Salesforce is a plusParalegal Certification is a plus
