Position Summary
The Lube Delivery Driver is responsible for the safe, timely, and accurate delivery of lubricants and related products to customers throughout assigned routes. This role requires excellent driving skills, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to customer service and safety.
Key Responsibilities
Safely operate company delivery vehicles in compliance with all U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company policiesLoad, transport, and deliver lubricants, oils, and related products to customer locationsVerify delivery accuracy, including product type, quantity, and documentationComplete delivery tickets, invoices, and required logs accurately and timelyProvide excellent customer service and maintain positive relationships with clientsPerform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needsMaintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicle and equipmentFollow all safety procedures, including proper handling of petroleum productsAssist with warehouse duties as needed, including loading/unloading inventory
Qualifications
Valid driver's license (CDL Required)Clean driving recordAbility to meet DOT medical certification requirements Previous delivery or commercial driving experience preferredAbility to lift, carry, and maneuver products (up to 50-75 lbs regularly)Basic math and documentation skillsStrong communication and customer service abilities
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
Frequent lifting, bending, and climbingExposure to outdoor weather conditionsHandling petroleum-based products with appropriate safety precautionsExtended periods of driving and sitting
Additional Requirements (Florida-Specific)
Compliance with all Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) and state regulationsKnowledge of local routes and geography preferred
