What You’ll DoAs a Personal Care Aide, you will:Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, transferring, and mobilityEngage patients in meaningful conversation, companionship, and social interactionRespond promptly to patient needs and requests for careObserve and report changes in physical, emotional, or mental condition to a licensed nurseComplete required documentation, including incident reports and change-of-condition reportsPrepare and serve meals; assist with eating (excluding tube feeding)Support self-administration of medications as directedChange bed linens and maintain a clean, safe immediate living environment (bedroom and bathroom)
