We are seeking a compassionate, motivated, and team-oriented Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) or Experienced Veterinary Technician Assistant to join our growing hospital. The RVT/Veterinary Assistant plays a vital role in providing exceptional patient care, client education, and contributing to a positive and collaborative hospital culture. Essential Qualifications
Licensed RVT, Experienced Veterinary Technician or Assistant with at least 2 years of clinical experience Strong technical skills (blood collection, catheter placement, anesthesia monitoring, radiology and lab procedures) Surgical and Dentistry assisting experience Top-notch communication and client education skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Positive attitude and willingness to support teammates Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
What You'll Do
Assist veterinarians with examinations, treatments, diagnostics, and procedures. Collect patient histories and assist with client education Perform lab sample collection and in-house diagnostic testing Assist with radiographs, dentistry, surgery prep, and anesthesia monitoring Administer medications and treatments as directed by veterinarian Prepare exam rooms and treatment areas while maintaining hospital cleanliness and organization Support hospital operations and contribute to a positive team culture
