Cardiology Advanced Practice Practitioner Opportunity This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated Cardiology Advanced Practice Practitioner to join an employed position within a busy, well-respected practice, supported by a strong referral base and the full resources of a robust health system network. The Team & Structure: Collaborate directly with one primary cardiologist alongside a multi-disciplinary team of providers to deliver seamless, comprehensive cardiac care. Practice Setting: Navigate a highly dynamic mixed inpatient and outpatient care model, optimizing continuity of care across both clinical and hospital environments. Advanced Clinical Environment: Utilize a robust electronic ecosystem including AthenaHealth, Sunrise Clinical Manager, and Epic EMR systems to streamline patient data and care coordination. Drive Clinical Excellence: Manage complex cardiac conditions by providing evidence-based interventions and coordinating longitudinal care in both ambulatory and hospital settings. Enhance Patient Access: Meet growing community demand and advance outreach initiatives by assisting with key cardiac procedures and expanding daily provider availability. Academic Collaboration: Participate in professional development and mentorship opportunities through available clinical rotations with UE/USI students. Call Rotation: Participate in an occasional weekend call rotation to maintain continuity of high-acuity patient coverage. Licensure Requirement: Fully licensed (or eligible) in the state of Indiana with an FNP, ACNP or PA designation.

What minimum requirements you'll need
BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Nurse Practitioner specializing in Prescriptive Authority credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Education:
Master's degree of Nursing required.
What additional preferences we're seeking
Proven Cardiology Background: Prior clinical experience working as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) within a dedicated cardiology setting is highly preferred. Experience Level: Dedicated professionals with 1–2 years of nurse practitioner experience are preferred.
