Assisting in surgical procedures by meticulously preparing and organizing the operating room Upholding sterile fields while adhering strictly to infection control protocols Efficiently handing instruments and necessary supplies to surgeons and surgical assistants Managing and preparing surgical equipment before, during, and post-procedures Monitoring supplies to ensure all items are ready for each operation Coordinating effectively with nurses, anesthesiologists, and surgical teams for seamless patient care Maintaining precise surgical counts and documentation Education Requirements:
Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program A high school diploma or equivalent is required Certifications Needed:
Possession of a current CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) credential is essential BLS certification (or the ability to obtain within 90 days of hire) Key Skills and Attributes:
